About Longlin Wang


Currently, I’m a doctoral student at the School of International Studies, Peking University. My research interests mainly focus on the Political Islam in Middle East(especially Iran, Turkey, Egypt and sometimes Central Asia), MENA-Sino relations, Eurasia, American Studies, etc. 

I hold a Bachelor of Laws (International Relations) from Wuhan University(September 2009-July 2013). I then became a master candidate in the School of International Studies at Peking University since 2013. And I enrolled in the five-year direct-promotion Doctors degree program at the School of International Studies since 2014. Sponsored by the China Scholarship Council(CSC), I studied at the Department of Government (Cornell University) as a joint Ph.D. student from September 2015 to September 2016.

Btw, I’m a chess fan and player, a Tableau “addict”, and a Turkish and Persian beginner, .
